Michigan Medical Marijuana Laws for Patients and Caregivers

On November 4, 2008, the people of Michigan voted in favor for the consumption of medical marijuana. This created the Michigan Medical Marihuana Act and Progam allowing registered adults over the age of 18 to obtain their medicine through safe and reliable ways.

These ways include safe transfer spots, being able to cultivate your own medicine at home, and/or having someone that is trusted to cultivate your medicine for you.

As of December 20, 2016 the updates are in effect. In these updates include rules and regulations about dispensary and caregiver licensing, edibles, concentrates, and any other “marihuana infused products” such as salves, lotions, etc.
