CBD is a non-psychoactive compound and is anti-anxiety and helps to relax the body and mind.

CBN happens when THC is exposed to light or oxygen and reduces spasms.

CBC is anti-inflammatory and may help with cancer.

Decarb Cannabis Science

You Will Need:

Cannabis, Cooking Tray, Parchment Paper, tin foil

Step 1: Preheat

Proper heating is very important because you don't want to overheat or under heat the plant. Overheating can cause damage to the compounds and under heating can result in lower quality. Preheating the plant material will allow the compounds and cannabinoids to be properly digested and be taken in to the system. You can't just eat weed and feel high.

Recommended: 200 degrees Fahrenheit @ 75 minutes if time allows and you want to get the best results. 225F @ 50 minutes for good results, and 250F @ 30 minutes if you don't have a lot of time.

Step 2: Decarboxylate the Cannabis

Line your baking tray with parchment paper and lay out your buds evenly so that the heat evenly disperses. Heat in the oven for 1 hour at 240F. The amount of bud varies with how much product you plan to make.

There are many benefits to decarboxylating your cannabis before using it in products or edibles. It will help the body absorb the cannabinoids more efficiently when ingested and it actually activates THCA, which binds  throughout the body so you can consume your medicine without having to smoke. It also helps prevent bacteria from growing in tinctures, butters, lotions, etc. Heating up the cannabis will dry out any moisture that will cause the botulism bacteria to grow in the tinctures after a period of time.

Watch these videos to find out what kind of fats or oils work best to mix with the decarboxylated cannabis, that way you get the best results!

If "Pharmaceutical Ads" Were Real Life

This parody commercial made by YouTuber Zebra Corner pokes fun at pharmaceutical commercials and how nonchalant the actors are when describing common side effects of the medicine. If this pharmaceutical ad were real life, there would be no holding back. Take a look for yourself!

Parody Drug Commercial

This parody commercial, put on by The Onion, discusses how Despondex may help treat those who are "annoyingly happy." It shows how ridiculous some pharmaceutical medications are and how we now have medicine for literally anything and everything. "Are you Annoyingly Happy? Despondex May be Right for You!"
